MEET THE ARTIST

Thank you for taking the time to explore my artwork and my website. 

I created this space to share all my creations and my journey with you.

My name is Jodie Fox, a self-taught artist born and raised in Jersey, in the Channels Islands. 

​​

I have always had a passion for creating. From a young age, I spent countless hours drawing my own Pokémon cards (something I wish I had kept hold of now!). 

​

I initially tried to follow a traditional educational route into the art world, but soon realised that the classroom wasn't the right fit for me. Instead, I chose to carve my own path and learn through experience. 

​

Being self taught allowed me to develop my skills through doing, experimenting, and embracing the experiences life has offered me. It has given me the freedom to create without boundaries and to find inspiration in the world around me. 

​

Over the years, I have travelled and lived in various places, and I now find myself living on the Scottish coast. A country girl at heart, I have always been drawn to nature - its colours, its wildlife, and the sounds that bring it to life. 

​

Animals have always been my greatest inspiration. Much of my artwork celebrates the creatures that share our world, whether through detailed portraits, storytelling, or collections inspired by conservation and the natural world. 

​

At the heart of it all, I simply want to create artwork that brings me joy. If my work connects with you and evokes an emotion, a memory, or a sense of wonder, then I feel I have succeeded. 

​

The more I create, the more ideas emerge, and I have no intention of placing limits on where my artistic journey may lead. 

​
